Biker Bash 2007
"Veterans' Appreciation Night"

Saturday September 29th
Depart 1:00pm
Tim's in Paradise
******************

C.A.V. sponsoring a Poker Run, Depart Tim's in Paradise 1:00pm to Bay-Roberts & back to the Royal Canadian Legion branch 64 in Holyrood to draw the last card. Steak Supper with all the trimmings, $12.00 per person, with a dance to follow later that night @ $5:00 Great prizes & 50/50 Draw

We are all familiar with the term
“Support our Troops” and so we should be, they are in harms way fighting for not only our Freedoms, but for the Peace and Freedoms of others.
The sad thing though is that when “Our Troops” return home they are quickly forgotten about until Remembrance Day, but that time is normally for remembering those who paid the ultimate price for our Freedom.

Those who have returned home missing limbs or suffering from the horrors of War are still sadly forgotten about,  not only by our Governments, but also Society, as they no longer play a part in keeping us Free, so sadly “Our War Heroes” as we can call “Our Veterans” nothing less, are pushed aside forgotten about. So what the "Veterans’ Appreciation Night" is all about, this is our way of letting “Our Veterans” know that they are not forgotten and that they deserve nothing but the utmost Respect and Appreciation from all of us, not only for the Freedoms we have, but for being able to keep those Freedoms, thanks to the price “Our Veterans” have paid.
